Pull out your crystal balls everyone. Do you think they will still have a big 50th birthday bash?

I hope that there can be some return to normalcy (whatever that is) by 10/1/2021. I'm unclear on when the 50th celebration was originally set to begin, but knowing the Disney bean counters, I'm sure that they were planning to **** the life out of it in every way possible. Perhaps a celebration beginning in fall 2021 lasting through 2022.

Not a doubt in my mind that they won’t have some sort of celebration in place, socially distanced or not. They are probably trying to figure it out right now

Oh yeah! I hope they do. But will they even have fireworks or parades??? Everything is strange right now.

Not a Splash Mountain's chance in 2020.

In that the 50th "birthday" is in October of 2021, there is still a good chance there will be SOME type of celebration happening. It may not be the length of previous 'celebrations,' but Disney will NOT miss this chance.

Can’t open if people continue to act like it isn’t a thing :)

Well, that isn't apt to change either buckaroo. But we'll see. If the gov will let them, they'll be open. Who knows what condition the gov will be in by then.

We're talking more than a year out from today. Considering that there are dozens of companies working on vaccines, and those vaccines are about to enter Stage 3 trials, I'm pretty confident that we'll be administering vaccines months before October 2021.

Zombies then. Ever see "I am Legend." That's how it started.

I gave up following all the "updates" long ago since everyone contradicts everyone else or themselves every other day. One of the other nurses here recently tested positive, and (according to her) she was told that the antibodies only last for 2 months. If that is true, a vaccine won't do much good, unless you're getting vaccinated every 2 months.

Yeah, rushed meds always make me feel good too :) The flu vaccine only works some of the time. Besides, getting it out there, enough people to take it, will they take it, safe enough to take it. Big mess.

That being said, if Disney can market vac shots or hazmat suits, then we'll have them at the gate to buy. Covid Vaccine with a Frozen logo on it.

Ha! Honestly, that thought has occurred to me many times.

But if the movies have it right, there will still be spam and twinkies :)
