So we just rescheduled my granddaughters 5th birthday party for the 3rd time. We are now booked for Thanksgiving week (I know.. I know) Any suggestions for good restaurants for dinner on Thanksgiving day? Preferably not in the parks.

For a 5 year old? Does she like the princesses? Maybe 1900 Park Fare with Cinderella.

I'm such a fan of Boma's that I'd eat there for Thanksgiving. If you're looking for more traditional American fare, character meals may be the best bet (especially with the 5yo).

I live Boma but was actually disappointed in it when I went for Thanksgiving. Their more unique items were reduced in favor of the turkey and sides. I was going to suggest Whispering Canyon. All you care to enjoy, antics for the kids, and Wilderness Lodge May have their Christmas decorations up, so that’s a plus.

I think it depends on where you are staying, if you'll have a car and what your granddaughter loves. We know they'll all be serving some sort of turkey dinner. I personally love The Grand Floridian Cafe, The Wave, The Turf Club.

Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' in Disney Springs does a fantastic thanksgiving day dinner.

How about the Wave at Contemporary Resort?

We love Boma too. We eat there every trip. I am going to see what Character meals offer a traditional Thanksgiving meal. The others in my party don't mind not having Turkey on Turkey day, but I do :)

I am a huge fan of Art Smith. Maybe being offsite for dinner would be a good idea.
