Is anyone staying at Riveria soon?

At the newly-opened Disney’s Riviera Resort Monday night, a family awoke to a loud bang after a Murphy bed became detached from the wall and fell on top a family member who was sleeping in it.

I would like to see someone actually test it out.

Currently all the Murphy beds have an out of order note on them. People have been asked not to use them

I don't think those beds were to have anyone over 100 pounds using them and I believe it was an adult sleeping on the bed that collapsed.

We stayed this week and enjoyed the murphy beds. In my opinion, the bed under the TV which is the bed in question would not be comfortable for an adult as it's slightly smaller than a twin, but my 6 year old loved it. The double bed that pulls out from the wall behind the couch is fine for adults.

I think that is the intent of the beds (someone under the age of 10). I bet your 6 year old will have that memory for years to come. 10 years from now saying "you remember that place where the bed pulled down from under the TV?" Making memories.
