An addendum to day 3. I tried out Skyliner from Epcot to Hollywood studios. It was only after i got on that i realized it was a windy day which would have changed my mind if i had thought about it. But the ride was uneventful and the wind didnt impact the ride. Great views from the skyliner of resorts on the way to HS. I walked backt to YC from HS not wanting to press my Skyliner luck.
Day 4. HS. Did my morning 5k down to HS and back. Ate breakfast in our room. Cereal, coffee bars we had brought from home. There is a decent area on first floor that serves breakfast fare. Room service is also available. Took SKYLINER to HS to give DW the skyliner experience. Sky did pause once in the air for about 2 minutes after transferring to sky at Caribbean station. A little nervous time. Moderate crowd at HS but good weather a little cool but sunny. FP on Toy Story. Walked through Toyland which had a moderate size crowd and then proceeded to Star Wars Edge area. Semi congested there. The theme is well done. Basically walked around exploring. Tried the wraps at one place for lunch. They dont give you trays which is a little problematic if you order several items. I almost lost my cell phone in the area but it was turned in by someone quickly adverting disaster. We then did a loop around the park seeing what else had changed. Muppet area seemed a little dead. Star Tours in same spot away from Star Wars Edge. We did the gift stores and then took boat back to YC for an afternoon rest. Went back via boat around 5 for 6:20 ADR at 50 Prime Time. They only let us check in 10 minutes before our appointed time which seemed kind of annoying. Food and waitress was good. She stayed in her role the whole time. Went to Fantasmic next using Fastpass. During the show the special effects froze during one scene followed by a quick announcement that the show was being canceled! First time I ever saw that happen at Fantasmic. So everyone was directed out of the arena. We closed the evening with the animation and fireworks display at the Chinese theater. We walked back to YC beating the boat by at least 5 minutes. Watched the end of Epcot fireworks from a bench outside YC. The weather was not as cool as the day before. Note that the Star wars area was closed after 4 pm which cut back on our time to see the area at night which i had desired to do. A special event was going on as the Resistance ride starts on the 5th.
