Thinking of booking a trip in the spring and can't decide on CS or POR. I've stayed at CS before the rooms were renovated and before the tower went up. Loved it there but have heard wonderful things about POR. Would love to hear your opinions!

Thanks

We've never stayed at CSR, but are huge POR fans. The Bayou rooms have all just been renovated, and are lovely. I like the food court, the pool options (4 quiet and a great main one), and the overall atmosphere of POR. Oh! the boat to DTD is a great perk too!

Both are very nice. We prefer POR b/c I enjoy the antebellum southern feel. CS has recently been renovated, and offers some nice dining options, and pool areas. Either way, can't go wrong.

How many people are going in your group and what are their ages?

I haven't stayed at CS. I do love POR. I think it has a very romantic feel to it.

Both are good, though I'd pick POR over CS. We really like the Bayou. The boat access to Disney Springs is a nice extra.

Coronado Springs is also a convention centre, so sometimes the food courts are crowded with conventioneers and it just *feels* busier there. It's gorgeous though. Definitely a pretty resort.

Port Orleans Riverside seems quieter and slower paced. We've stayed in the mansions at POR and they were lovely.

We just got back from CS and while I liked it ok, in my opinion POR was by far the nicer resort. We LOVED POR. The landscaping is immaculate and it is so peaceful walking around. We much preferred the pool area at POR and the dining options. The CS room renos are nice- the space is very well utilized and the bathrooms are great, but hands down I would pick POR.

We prefer a more peaceful, relaxed resort setting. We found POR to be much more peaceful and relaxing. To me, CS is more"fun" and has more energy. The Dig Site pool had a ton of people and while my kids liked the slide, it just felt chaotic. The new tower is cool, but not somewhere my family would necessarily want to go. CS feel more young and hip. Both resorts are nice. I think alot of it depends on what you are looking for in a resort and if you want relaxed/ tranquil vs. brighter/ energetic.

I'd stay at both again, especially with a discounted rate, but POR is by far our favorite of the two.

Did the renovated rooms have the shampoo/cond pumps in the showers.
