Background: When I was in the working world, I would escape to DW in early December to get away from cold Midwest temperatures and the stresss and craziness of the work environment. Now that I'm retired I am trying to return to that yearly December getaway schedule. Spouse still works so this trip will be another party of 1 adventure. (We will be going together in Dec 2019.) My solo adventure is scheduled to start early Monday morning and return will be late Saturday night. 2 days of park hopping is all I need as I've been to DW at least 40 times and really don't spend a lot of time in the parks anymore. Additional schedule includes 1 day of shopping offsite using a rental car from Dolphin hotel, 1 spa day, and 2 days to just relax and resort hop, catch a movie, eat, etc. Economizing by staying at a Value Resort. Fastpasses and Disney dining reservation made, DME to and from resort. Upcoming weather sounds decent and certainly warmer than what we will have in the Midwest next week. My goals: enjoy the warm weather; eat some good food; relax and go slow; volunteer to take photos for people who are doing selfies; and smile as much as possible! I'm also taking with me a script I wrote years ago to revise and update during my relaxation days. Daily reports from DW upcoming starting Monday eve. :mickey:
