Room to sleep 6?

Does anyone know of a resort that has a suite that has 2 separate bedrooms both with 2 queen beds that also has a living room area? We are looking to sleep 6 but do not like rooms that have pull out beds or couch options. Prefer to be on Disney campus and not too pricey ($250-night?)

For 2 real bedrooms, you would need to move up to the Disney Villa Category and the cost would be far more than $250 per night. You may want to look at 2 regular rooms at a value resort to stay near that price point.

I agree with Tink1. At that price point, and stay at a Disney resort, you might need to look at 2 value rooms. Some of the DVC 2-BR villas would get close to your desire to have 2 bedrooms and a living area, but they will be quite expensive and will probably only get you to 1 br with a king and 1 br with two queens. And even there you'd have to be very specific as to where you stay, as some 2BR set-ups for DVC would include a queen and pullout in the one room. A 2BR at OKW might be something to look at, as all their 2BRs have 2 queens in the one room and a king in the other - they are likely to be cheaper (and larger) than most of the other DVC properties.

To get what you're looking for, you might need to look off-site. You might also want to look into the sites that rent DVC points from other owners for a discount - sometimes you can get some savings through that approach - depending upon availability.

I know you said you'd prefer two bedrooms, yet AoA can sleep 6 with one bedroom. We rather liked the room and it was priced right !!

Your gonna need to compromise somewhere. We will be a party of 6, first week in June and the cheapest option for us was two rooms at the value resorts. With military discount I am paying $152 per night per room. That is over your $250 per night max, and that was far cheaper than anything else I looked into. Even renting DVC points, which we often do, was way more expensive than the values.

The next cheapest option was a family suite at a value resort, followed by a cabin at Fort Wilderness. Every thing else was much more expensive.

Of course it will depend on when you are planning to go and what discounts are out for that time period. You could also look into the Disney Springs resort area. They often offer discounts. I've seen teacher discounts offered recently in the event you qualify for that discount. Shades of green was comparable in price to what we are paying at the values but not all of my nights were available. If you are military look into that.

Depending on the time of the year and if there are any discounts, maybe The Cabins at Fort Wilderness? I see they sleep 6. They have a queen bed, bunk beds, and one pull out sofa and the price is slightly above $250 a night. I know you said you prefer to not have a pull out sofa bed, but maybe worth checking it out.

They do not guarantee.. But, Twice we have gotten rooms with an adjoining room. once, we had a door between the 2 rooms. once we had 2 rooms next door to each other, but no door between the 2.

Adjoining means the rooms are next to each other. Connecting rooms have an interior door between the rooms.

I know you said you would prefer to stay on property, but I would recommend looking at a condo or townhouse off property. My family of 6 just stayed in a 3 bed, 3 bath townhouse the week of Thanksgiving for approximately $200 per night after taxes and fees. We found the place on VRBO. If you do go with this option I recommend looking for places in Windsor Hills as it is only 2.5 miles from World Drive. Most mornings it took us less than 10 minutes to get to the parks. The big downside of this option is that you need a car, and will have to pay $25 per day to park at the parks.
