We leave this Sunday for 6 days and this will be our first trip without the dining plan. Do most restaurants give a DVC discount? Trying to decide if it’s worth the Tabkes in Wonderland card???

Many restaurants will, some won't, and some will do only certain meals (like lunch, not dinner). If you go to the DVC web site, click on member benefits, and filter on dining, you'll see what is available for you in the way of discounts. Typical DVC discounts look to be 10% - some are 20%.

If you hadn't hear of it, Tables in Wonderland (TIW) definitely pays for itself if you are DVC, there for at least a week and have at least one ressie per day. The cost is $150 for DVC members but it takes 20% off your bill for a high number (not all) dining locations. You can only get it onsite at guest relations (not your hotel) and it is good for a year. We'll take TIW over DDP any day!
