Doors have opened this morning officially on the largest hotel “re-construction” in WDW history. New layout, restaurants, shops, check-in, everything. I can’t wait to see the videos!

How nice! We enjoyed CBR a few years ago, I will put it back on the short list to check out on upcoming trips.

I did not realize this resort was getting an overhaul. I just booked our 2019 return trip and we are staying here so I am excited to see the updates first hand.

I miss the street look, with the sky, of the old food court. But does look modern.

I noticed on the site map there is no Barbados. Is that section being refurbed??

I noticed on the site map there is no Barbados. Is that section being refurbed?? The original Barbados section has been demolished. (http://www.intercot.com/discussion/showthread.php?214422-New-Building-Planned-for-at-Disney-s-Caribbean-Beach-Demolition-Underway-On-New-Site&highlight=Barbados) This area will be part of the future Disney's Riviera resort (a Disney Vacation Club location).

Trinidad South is the new Barbados while Trinidad North is now just Trinidad.
