Thanks to our late night the night before… we were up way later than we intended and got out of the hotel far later than we should have. We grabbed Minnie Vans to Epcot to try to make our reservations at Garden Grill, because although we kept seeing buses to DHS we didn't see any for Epcot for quite a while (we were a few minutes late, but they seated us shortly after we got there). Breakfast was delicious. I love those cinnamon rolls.

After breakfast we met up with a local friend/cast member at Nemo. As we were waiting the ride went down. We decided to duck out of the line and into the aquarium. Between visiting the aquarium and seeing Turtle Talk with Crush and letting the kids roam a bit in the Finding Nemo Shark area, we spent almost 2 hours in the Living Seas.

We left the Livign Seas and got in the fastpass queue for Journey into Your Imagination. While we were waiting...it went down… are you noticing a theme? Nemo was back up and running, so we went over there and rode that.

The kids were ready for a nap, so we went over to space sort of behind Starbucks and Club Cool and walked in circles and drank starbucks until J5, X2 and DD fell asleep. We head over to Mexico and Grammie, Grandpa, my local friend and I took DS on “the Donald ride” which is a definite favorite of his. We grabbed some margaritas… the Cucumber one at La Cava del Tequila was awesome. After the kids all woke up, we went on Frozen Ever After. We had never done this and I’ll admit that despite loving Frozen, I was not happy when it was announced they were closing Malestrom in order to put in a Frozen ride. I was pleasantly surprised by how much we all enjoyed the ride. Figment was still down, but the kids needed a little bit of freedom, so we went over to the area after the ride and let them dance off some steam on the interactive floor and design their own figments...and take a multitude of photobooth pictures...thank goodness for memory maker! We did the Disney Visa meet and greet and enjoyed some quality time with Goofy and Minnie before heading over to dinner at Biergarten.

We love Biergarten, both for the food and for the entertainment. DS and J5 both got up and went to dance during the performance, which is so fun to watch. After dinner, there seems to be a hole in my memory. Then K, J, J5, and X2 decided to stay for Fireworks and we decided to ride Nemo on our way out of the park … we had discovered the night before that DD didn’t really enjoy the fireworks, so we were going to avoid the meltdown. We rode Figment and then head back to the hotel, leaving at about 9.

Another fine day despite the ride breakdowns!!! When my nephew was around the same age as your daughter, he didn't like the fireworks either - the noise hurt his ears. A set of sound deadening headphones fixed it so that the noise no longer bothered him and he got to enjoy seeing the fireworks!!

We are sort of maybe contemplating a quick trip in April, and we're definitely considering some noise canceling headphones for her for that trip. We took DS when he was almost exactly the same age (their birthdays are 3 years and 1 week apart and we traveled near the same time the August he was 2) and he was sensitive to them, but didn't react quite as strongly, so we were thinking she might not love the sound, but weren't quite anticipating the reaction she did have. If we do manage to make April work, we'll definitely bring headphones.

Yes, you can see some scenes from the ride while in Garden Grill, however, you can't really see the boats unless you are at the railing leaning forward.
