WL Roaring Forks

So I'm watching WDW You Tube vids, especially of WL and one video said Roaring Forks is quick service but you order and pay at a desk then the staff bring the food to you at wherever you're sitting. So, do we tip them? Part of me says "no its quick service" but another part says " yes, they're bringing you food"
Any ideas?

I haven't dined at this specific location but on our last trip, many of the quick service restaurants were doing this. You would order and be provided a pager like you would at say Panera Bread. But instead of it paging you and you going to pick up your food at a counter, your food is brought out by a cast member. They have a way of determining your location. With this particular setup, there really wasn't a way to tip the individuals dropping the food off. As I had looked around the restaurant it seemed as others had not done the same and the cast members weren't looking for a tip. Most locations you would clear your table at the end of the meal. This was both in the parks and at Disney Springs. Based on my experience I would say no need to tip in this instance.

Ah, thanks for the info. I'm from the UK where tipping isn't the norm. I always try to tip right as don't want to be seen as a bad tipper, but as we don't visit the US that often I get confused/forgetful.

We usually stayed at WL and eat breakfast at Roaring Forks. Even though someone brings your food to the table, it's a counter service so not tip is left. You do need to clear your table when you leave. For a quick service lunch, I would recommend the bison burger at Geyser Point Bar and Grill counter service. It is very good.

The one counter service place I do always tip at is Wolfgang Puck's at the Marketplace in Disney Springs. If you have a fountain drink you will fill your first one on the way to the table. After that the wait person will bring everything to you. They will bring your dessert after they clean your table when you finish the entrée. You never have to clear the table at all. Need anything extra like salt and pepper, more grated cheese or anything else they will get it for you. Need a refill on a beverage? They've got you covered. Most people do not tip here but to me that doesn't feel right. We have had waiters remember us from one trip to the next and I'm convinced it's because we tip.
