Tickets purchase question

I have 2 trips planned and need to purchase tickets soon for the first trip so that I can get my fast passes going. I am still deciding on whether to buy regular tickets or make the move and get an annual pass. My question:
Can I buy a regular Park Hopper Pass now and make fast passes on it then if I decide to go for the annual pass could I go to Guest Services at the beginning of my trip and trade up for the annual pass?

Absolutely. That is the way I got my AP last November. I had already purchased a MYW + PH ticket and went to Customer Relations in EPCOT (my first park stop) and had them upgrade me. The cost was the difference between the cost of what I had already purchased and the current AP price.

Are you staying onsite? The AP will give you free parking at the parks even before you activate it if you aren't staying onsite.

Thank you!!! I am staying offsite for one of the trips and onsite for the other. Bay Lake Tower Park View 2 bedroom! Can't wait!!!
