A quick 3 night, 4 day stay. Flight was 3/4 full so plenty of room to stretch out. Arrived early around 7:20 a.m. DME was waiting. Arrived at Riverside around 8:30. Room not ready so took bus to AK to transfer to Blizzard Beach to play a round of miniature golf. Nice course with more shade than fantasia gardens. Went to Disney springs for snack at house of blues, roadhouse nachos. Checked out several stores. World of Disney undergoing major renovation. One section is totally closed off. Not much in store to buy. Ate a late lunch at Art Smitts homecoming. Hostess sat me at table 31 which is right by swinging kitchen doors with view of workers constantly sweeping food into trash can. I was too tired to complain. Ordered fried chicken meal which was very disappointing. Best thing about the chicken was the crust! Waitress was so-so and I had to request water twice before she brought me a glass. The coke was flat. How do you spoil a coke? I was starting to fade from the heat, so I returned to the resort as i had gotten a message that room was ready. Skipped the front desk and used magic band to enter room using map on phone. Technology makes life easier in some ways! Unfortunately there was a large bug in the bath area which I quickly smashed. Reported the incident to the resort via an email. Duty manager responded and will have the room inspected tomorrow do any other bugs hiding out. Otherwise first floor room is descent. With an early start to the day, after a short walk to lobby area to enjoy the evening I retired back to my room. Wednesday awaits with Animal Kingdom fast passes on my agenda.
