If I buy a drink at the window at beaches and cream, can I enter epcot with the drink?

I was there a couple of weeks ago, had my refillable mug with coffee and they let me through fine. I even asked the guard if I had to throw it out in the bathroom before entering and he said no, as long as it wasn't alcohol.

if alcholoic, pour it into your resort mug. I have never had that checked....but then again, never had alchohol there either.
