We're about to head back to WDW for a week and I need some dining help. I'm sure this question has been asked before, BUT do you have any tips on eating healthy at Disney or sites that list good options? I know eating healthy at WDW sounds kinda crazy and I'm sure we will have a couple WDW food extravaganzas, but my wife and I really don't want to blow our diet every day! :bar:

HELP!!!

There are lots of healthy options in the parks and restaurants. I am diabetic so I must watch what I eat. I am always able to find fresh fruit and veggies everywhere. Animal Kingdom has snack choices of fruit, veggie sticks and cheese. EPCOT you can find lots of healthy options. MK is a little harder but you can find fruit and veggie snacks. Hollywood Studios I haven't had much experience with snacks and we usually don't eat there. Most of the table service restaurants have healthy options. I do not do quick service as the options for me are very limited. Look up the menus of any place you might eat to get an idea of what is available

I know I should eat healthy every single day but I can't, especially when at Disney. I'm sure you will find what you're looking for, I just wanted to chime in to let everyone know I am weak and eat all things bad while there !!

There are lots of great options for eating healthy in the World, and you won't be stuck eating salad all week. Epcot is probably the easiest, with all of the WS restaurants as well as Sunshine Seasons. In MK, the Lighthouse sandwich at CHH is quite good. The tuna salad at BOG is great, too. For something a little different, try a veggie sampler at Sanaa. Another good option is to go for a place with shareable portions.

A couple tips from my experience:

At quick-service restaurants there is typically always an alternative to getting fries with your main food item: steamed broccoli and apple slices are common. If it isn't clear from the menu, always ask! Disney is very accommodating. And you can always ask for changes like removing the ubiquitous bacon from all the burgers and sandwiches. Just these simple changes will make your meal so much healthier and lower calories/fat.

I sometimes get the kids meals at lunchtime, as they tend to be healthier and obviously are smaller portions.

Columbia Harbor house as a vegetarian chili that is pretty tasty.
