144 days till our next trip! 3 nights at Shades of Green followed by 5 nights at the Poly. Bringing my son's girlfriend who has only been once, when she was around 7, and doesn't remember much! Can't wait!!!

Just booked Port Orleans Riverside (thank you Wendy & Magical Journeys (http://www.yourmagicaljourneys.com/)!) for son's graduation trip. He wanted to go to Disney World instead of having a party!

At this time tomorrow (7:25am) I should be making final approach to MCO (Orlando Intermational Airport [McCoy Airfield])!!!!! Just hope I wake up to my 2am alarm!!! Hahahaaaaaa

Very well! I got everything I wanted at great times. I can be very flexible on this trip, so it was nice not to have to be restricted by lots of other plans.

T minus 29 and counting...

Just started pulling out luggage and seeing what I have and don't have for travel supplies...Got the resort email (about gondola construction at Pop/AoA) from Disney Destinations this weekend...Checking and rechecking park hours for any changes...Looking at the long range weather forecasts...Finalized MagicBand selection and online check-in details...

The one hassle with going in October/November/December is the need for different types of clothing -- jeans, shorts, sweats, jackets, short sleeves....I will probably be my normal idiot self and be in shorts and short sleeves the whole trip...I'm good to about 50 degrees like that.

Other than that, I was trying to decide if I was going to do MNSSHP in costume, but since I arrive mere hours before the party, I will probably just go as the 'Yankee Tourist!' (and no, I do not mean the baseball team!!) LOL

Now, it's just 'hurry up and wait' time....

3 days from right now, my plane will be taking off for Orlando. I only have 1.5 shifts left at work, which is good, because I have soooo much to do. I'm usually all packed and ready to go by now. All of my kids and my granddaughter are going with me. The excitement is definitely building.

9 days from right now (10:50am, October 16th) I will be getting ready to board my Southwest flight bound for MCO!!!! Landing around 2:15pm, a quick (hopefully) jaunt over to Pop Century to check into my room, then off to MK for MNSSHP!!!!! No costume for the party because I will be in constant motion from the time the plane lands....

Let's get this party started....

I believe that I have heard that Jungle Cruise is not running during MNSSHP...That area is used as a Candy Trail stop....Get there before 'normal' park closing if you want to ride that day/night.

Bud, when you enter at 4 Jungle Cruise is still open until 6 p.m. I have a FP for it at 4:20 :mickey:
