After Thanksgiving we are going for our December week at WDW. This time, we have old friends from our hometown joining us. First time we have gone on a trip with them and since we see each other rarely it will be a real treat (they live in Kentucky and we are in PA). Also our youngest daughter, Stephanie, is going but not sure how much time she will spend with us. She wants to snack her way around Epcot and draw and paint and relax. It will her first time at Shades of Green and hoping she will like it.

Looking forward to all the holiday activities and our new experiences at Animal Kingdom. I still haven't seen the Tree of Life projection show or Rivers of Light. And of course, Pandora. Can't wait for those new experiences.

Will be interested to see how Stephanie and I feel about Wishes being gone and the new fireworks at the Magic Kingdom.

Our friends have never been to WDW during the holidays so they are very excited to see it all and especially Epcot Candelight Processional.

I was able to get dining at all my first choice locations and our fast passes worked out great too.

Can't wait to get this party started!!

About 5 years ago, my husband and I were walking around the corner in Hollywood Studios towards Beauty and the Beast. When I looked up, our friends were standing there. We just stood and stared at each other for several seconds then started smiling and hugging. It was so strange seeing someone you have known forever standing in a spot hundreds of miles from where we all lived. My husband and his friend had grown up in the same neighborhood and I had met my husband's friend in high school ( before I met my husband). We all stayed in touch and would see each other every few years. After that chance meeting, we have talked about going on a trip together and it is finally happening!!

One of our favorite trips was going with another family with boys the same age as our own...
it was so much fun to see their faces (they had never been to anything Disney). It's such a joy to share!
