THE WHO:
DH - just trying to keep up with the DS'
DW - WDW planner extraordinaire
DS1 - birthday trip (18) & college bound
DS2 - going with the flow
THE WHEN:
8/8 - 8/15
THE WHERE:
POP Sports(1) / POLY remainder
So this past spring we asked our eldest where he wanted to vacation this summer before he begins his college life....and SURPRISE! he wanted to go to Disney. Soooo the DW got to planning and on 8/8 we were off on Jet Blue - late flight - and off to the World. Flight, Disney Express all uneventful. Crashed at POP Sports first night (got into the room at 2:22 am) and gave our DS' a happy change to our plans the next morning.
We were originally staying at POR-Riverside which we have done several times and enjoy the resort very much. BUT - my DW had found a great deal on a stay at the POLY so we grabbed that but did not let the boys in on it. Needless to say 4 happy guests in our happy place and ready to go go go!
So after we transferred - room not ready of course - we hit up our always first day park MK! Got in BTMRR, HM, Buzz, Space, Speedway/ and Peoplemover - not bad all before lunch! :thumbsup: Then we dined at BOG....very tasty as always. NOTE: not doing Dining Plan this time so we would see how it would pan out for us. Back to room to unpack and cool off. SECOND NOTE: it is Hot as Hell down here in August!! first time in our many trips doing summer so we would also see how THAT plays out.
Quick trip back out to HS. Dinner at Backlot. RNRC and a few trips on TSM - older DS rocked a 230k score. Tired and called it a night. :mickey:
