What's Closed in October 2017?

Leaving for WDW the middle of October. I am having such a difficult time trying to find out what will be closed at the parks while we are there.

I saw a post mentioning Great Movie Ride and the Ellen's Energy ride will be closing the end of August. Where can I find a list of things that will be closed? I looked around here but wasn't sure I was looking in the right place. I tried the WDW site but was more lost there than here, if that's possible..LOL..

Anyway, it's been a couple of years since we have been and know big doings are going on for sure. Maybe I should just see what rides will be there and hope that it's rather up to date?

FastPass picks will be here in about a month and trying to figure out what we need to do to get the most out of our visit with all the updates going on. Maybe we won't need 2 days at Hollywood Studios? Love Epcot but said the Energy ride is closing.

Any advice anyone can give would be appreciated.

Hollywood Studios is reduced to about 2/3 of what it was due to Streets of America and such closed down to construct Star Wars Land and Toy Story Land. And now, Great Movie Ride disappears in August. Hollywood Studios is almost a waste of a day. Opening of Pandora is great, but get your Fastpasses for Flight of Passage because the line will be insane. Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. are still nice, though Universe of Energy will be shut down when you go. Get Fastpass for Frozen in the Norway pavilion. Other than that, enjoy! It's still Disney!
