Old Key West

Any tips or thoughts on Old Key West? We are staying there in late September with our four children, MIL, and FIL.

Have already requested a building with an elevator. Any other recommendations?

It's a large resort. If you have not reserved space near hospitality house, it is likely you will need to take an internal bus to get to the main pool, main building, restaurant, boat to Disney Springs.

It's a lovely resort. I hope you enjoy it.

You should be aware that there are only a few of the newest buildings that have elevators. Probably 90% of the resort does not. If the elevator buildings are not available for you, you will want a first floor room to avoid the stairs. And if there is any chance at all you can request a room near the Hospitality House, it is recommended.

You're all set as long as you have it noted on your reservation. You can call Disney or have your travel agent add it. Go the desk to check in when you get there, the cast member who checks you in would be able to help grant the request if it wasn't granted during room assignment.
