Hi,

Were going to Disney World Dec 12th thru 19th. Figured we'll plan our days so we can make dining reservations.

I've noticed pretty much from Sept to Dec. Animal Kingdom closes at 7PM? I thought they were pushing guest to stay thru the night with the Rivers of Light and Pandora?

They apparently can't make up their minds what they want to do with Animal Kingdom activities after Sept 30th at this point, and it's getting really annoying from a planning standpoint. We're hoping the decide to continue with Rivers Of Light and extend the hours in the fall. But who knows why they're delaying or what they're trying to do. Even ADRs at a place like Yak & Yeti are up in the air because they don't know yet how late the park will be open.

But with ROL and Pandora, it seems the just HAVE to have more hours. People want/need to see Pandora at night. And we had a chance to see ROL a few weeks ago, and we really enjoyed it - and want to see it again.

I am sure as time moves closer they will add longer hours. I think they are trying to see the response to Rivers of Light and Pandora. I know it makes it hard for planning

I'm having the same issue. We are going Dec 13 through Dec 22 and don't know how to plan our dining. Usually I know hours as well as EMH so I can plan accordingl, but not this year. Hopefully I can make needed changes after the hours are finally posted.

I used to be really into planning our days and hrs. But now you have to with the dining & fast pass +.

I really want to see Pandora at night.

Remember, the sun sets in December around 5:30, so by 7:00 it is actually pretty dark.

Yes, quite frustrating when you are trying to plan ahead. Still waiting for November hours and RoL packages to be available.
