Just got a Disney Visa and was wondering what the best perks are for WDW. I haven't had a chance to read through the booklet that came with it, but skimmed through. What is your favorite perk? Are there special character meet and greets? Any special discount on ticket prices?

Also wondering about park tickets. We have just been doing the parties the past few years but this October I'm thinking about a multi-day ticket. Really just need 3 days. What is the best way/place to get tickets, and is there ever any kind of discount beyond the authorized ticket places like Undercover Tourist?

Another option might be the 4 park magic ticket. Anybody know if they will be offering that in October?

Perks for Chase Disney Visa card...Rewards for purchases at 1% (regular card) only applicable to Disney - Stores or Park merchandise. [I think it may be 3% for the Premium card, but I don't pay annual fees for ANY card, so I'm not sure on that.]...Discounts for some tours (15%), but NOT for hard-ticket events...Free 5x7 photo at the Character Stop in EPCOT...Sometimes cardholders get advance notice of discounts and offers for parks and resorts...Discounts on in park purchases at some stores for $50 purchases and above (10%)...Discount on some dining when paid for with the card (10%)...6 months, no interest on Disney trips paid for on the card...

These are the ones I actually use, there may be more.

You also get discounts on purchases made at Disney Store or through Disneystore online. I love the ease of being able to use m points earned for almost anything when we are there

It's not a free 5×7 photo anymore, it's a free photo download.

You get no discounts on park tickets. You sometimes get special resort discount offers at WDW and Aulani. You get a $50 beverage credit on Disney Cruise line (one per cabin) when you pay for your cruise using the card. You get to use the Chase lounge at the American Adventure Pavilion during F&W festival (charging stations, seating, and free drinks via a Coke freestyle machine).

PopPhan pretty much nailed it! We have the premium card so it is 2% for groceries, gas, restaurants and Disney purchases and 1% for everything else. We run all of our normal household expenses through our card and pay the balance every 2 weeks to avoid paying interest. We also used it to pay make payments on our Disney trips and with every payment we make that is more Disney Reward dollars earned. We just made sure we made our final payment on our trip at least a month and a half prior to leaving for Disney to make sure we got the Disney Reward dollars on the books before we made it to Disney. We have never regretted getting our Disney VISA and it is the only credit card we own!

Thanks everyone! I'll have to check on that Epcot photo op, and it sounds like its a good card to have. I try to keep everything paid off, so it will be nice to have some vacation money saved up. I appreciate it!
