We will be making a trip to WDW the end of October for my grand daughters birthday. One of our ADR's is for Cape May Café. We have been to a lot of the Disney Restaurants but we have never been to this one in all of our visits. My youngest daughter (32 yr old) loves crab legs and this the only non-signature restaurant that offers them.

Knowing that it is a buffet it the food as expected or lack luster.

Either way we will be at WDW. I don't think my youngest has been there with the dining plan so she really does not know what to be expected although we have tried. Unfortunately we had to pay for the dining plan this time but we really take full advantage of it and look forward to it.

Thank you for any advise or help...:mickey:

We loved Cape May dinner seafood buffet but keep in mind that crab legs are only offered on the buffet certain nights of the week.

Cape May Cafe is one of our favorites! Crab legs, shrimp, clams, mussels and salmon! Salads, prime rib and other yummy favorites. Save room for the assortment of desserts! THe crab legs should be on the buffet as per my daughter who works there. The only reason they would not be is if the run out.

Cape May Buffet is one of my favorites. Even if you do not "love" seafood, there is quite the selection and it is all excellent. One example: I am not a big fan of salmon, but the way it is made up on the buffet had me coming back for more. I'll let the others (like the ones above) talk about the crab legs...I'm not fond of crab :crab: myself, and certainly not without a liberal dose of Old Bay!!

Thank you for the input. I would hope they don't run out. I think our ADR is around 6:30 so fingers crossed.

Happy planning..:mickey:

Cape May is one of our must do's and they've always had the crab legs offered. We've been at various different times, some very late and they still offered the legs, so you should be good to go !!

We love Cape May! We have eaten there on several occasions. They have always had the crab legs. My DH gets a bucket of them and is in hog's heaven. :) There are other items on the buffet if you aren't into seafood. I haven't had anything there that was bad. The desserts are wonderful also.

Cape May Cafe is one of our family's must dos. The crab legs are on the buffet every night. There are some other offerings that rotate by night of the week. Fried calamari is one of my son's favorite foods. We always make sure we go when it is offered. Leave plenty of time. We love to visit the Beach Club resort - I always love the smell of the lobby!

It's our must restaurant every trip. If she loves crab legs then she'll be in heaven. :)

We really like it. It is not a Signature dining experience, and I confess to being a bit of a food snob, but I have always enjoyed my meals here. There is a great variety and it is better than average buffet for sure.

We have always loved Cape May Cafe. The food has always exceeded my expectations both in quality and variety. The setting is lovely, and the service has always been very good. It is definitely one of our favorites.

We truly enjoy Cape May. We usually eat there each trip. We have honestly never been disappointed in the buffet. The food does remind me of Red Lobster. The desserts are always so lovely and since you see them the instant you enter it is always tempting to go straight there.
