UK Blue Badge holders can no longer get their temporary permit in advance

When Florida changed their laws a few years ago to not let UK/Euro Blue badges be used Osceola County tax office kindly stepped in and offered a purchase in advance option and posted the permit to you ahead of your trip. As of last month that service has been stopped and the best offer for a permit is to make an appointment at their main office. I believe Disney and Universal parks still accept the Blue Badges but am not sure about resorts.

It was so nice going to California last year and just being able to use the Blue badge as it was. Wish I understood why Florida makes life so difficult!

How annoying! We use Mom's Ontario permit when she comes with us, and it would be a pain to have to go and get a Florida one every trip.

Did they give a reason for the change?

The first I knew of it was an auto reply when I emailed to get one for our February trip. No reason given.
