The Disneyland Resort Celebrates the Holidays with new fun and entertainment. Included are the Festival of Holidays and the Nighttime Spectacular “World of Color – Season of Light”.
:snowman: This year guests will have even more to celebrate as they discover the new Festival of Holidays, with music, dance, food and heartwarming holiday festivities inspired by cultural traditions from around the world.
:ornament: Also new for the season is the holiday themed “World of Color – Season of Light” nighttime water spectacular combining holiday music with Disney animation.
:tree: And returning to celebrate its 20th holiday season is “it’s a small world” Holiday. Discover this year’s “Hidden 20s” as you float along on your voyage.
:santa: Both theme parks offer expanded hours on some days, extending the family fun and allowing more time for guests to enjoy all there is to see and do at the Disneyland Resort.
At Disneyland:
• A Christmas Fantasy Parade celebrates the season with Disney characters and holiday cheer.
• Believe . . . in Holiday Magic Fireworks light up the nights and conclude with a stirring snowfall finale.
• Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle shimmers brightly with sparkling icicles and shimmering lights along its snow capped turrets.
• Town Square Christmas Tree with twinkling lights, festive garland, and nearly 1,800 ornaments is the focal point of Main Street U.S.A.
• Santa Claus can be found welcoming guests at his special location in Critter Country.
• Seasonal Transformations include:
:deer: it’s a small world Holiday celebrating holiday traditions and all the children of the world for its 20th year.
:sleigh: Haunted Mansion Holiday featuring Jack Skellington and his friends from “The Nightmare Before Christmas”.
:gift: Jingle Cruise brightening up the holidays in the jungle for the riverboat skippers and their guests.
At Disney California Adventure:
• Festival of Holidays celebrates holiday festivities of diverse cultures with music, dance, craft-making, and food.
• Disney ¡Viva Navidad! returns with seasonal sights, sounds, and flavors of Latin America.
• World of Color – Season of Light brings the warmth of the holidays to you through a stunning nighttime water spectacular.
• Carthay Circle Christmas Tree dazzles Buena Vista Street with its 1920s type decorations from the time when Walt Disney first arrived in LA.
• Santa Claus will be making his holiday visit at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. Enjoy the decorations and games on the holiday trail.
• Cars Land and a bug’s land both transform in to holiday wonderlands in their own unique styles representing . . . cars and bugs!
In Downtown Disney and At the Disneyland Resort Hotels:
