Yacht Club refurb

I'm considering the Yacht Club for our trip in January to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We've never stayed there and I'm wondering how it is with the refurb going on. We have stayed at hotels undergoing work in the past and while it still has that Disney magic, it's just not quite the same. Any thoughts?

From what I've heard, the work should not cause an impact as they will be doing one section at a time. I've booked a trip for January and will be staying at the Yacht Club. It's a beautiful resort that I love so I'm just hoping for the best.

If you decide to book, maybe request a room away from any construction to minimize the impact on you.
