Does anyone know if they can be used internationally?

I don't believe so. None of the out of U.S. Disney sites are shown as locations where Disney gift cards can be used.

They can be used on the Disney Cruise line and to book Adventures by Disney trips.

I agree with Faline. I think the issue comes down to the exchange rate, and although many companies have cards that word across borders, Disney doesn't seem to be quite there yet. :(
