We are thinking about driving down to Disney next summer (instead of our usual AutoTrain trip), and take a few days to "do things" along the way, like the NASCAR Hall of Fame.

So, what else would you do, what are some of your favourite things to do on the way down I-95 to Disney?

How about the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY or Gettysburg Military Park? Those may be too far off your route, but they are well worth a visit.

We stopped off at the New River Gorge for a break and ended up staying for a for a good little while. Really surprised us this hidden gem did. It is in on the US 19 in WV between Beckely and Summersville. If you do take this route watch your speed! There are radar traps on the entire stretch of the US 19

Taking a night or two at HHIR might be a good way to break up the trip back.
