I haven't been posting as much for a while due to personal issues. The stress has caused many physical conditions. I have been in and out of the hospital since October 2015.

In June I was diagnosed with pre cancer of the endometrium. After a month of getting clearance and another trip to the ER ( and admission) there were changes on the CT scan of the abdomen. A colonoscopy cleared me for surgery or an additional surgery. Tomorrow I'm having two surgeries. I'm hoping that everything is clear. I'll probably be in one or two days. The downside is that I have to brave the I4 to Florida Hospital Orlando. That's where the GYN Oncologist has her team. I'm so used to Florida Hospital Celebration.

Please send some pixies my way.

:magic: Poor Marci! The added stress of driving to the other hospital doesn't help. You're in my thoughts, all best wishes.

Doing ok under the circumstances. It was quite an experience. I really wanted to see the OR. The first surgery was a robotic laproscopic hysterectomy . I really wanted to see the robotic machines. Just before they brought me to surgery they gave me "something to relax" me. I was passed out and didn't see anything until I was in my room. I found out it was Versed. I never saw recovery. I heard them but refused to open my eyes.

The second surgery was a hernia repair. The majority of pain is from the second surgery. I never knew how much you use your abdominal muscles. I have been home since late Friday afternoon. I can walk ok. Just hard getting up and down into my recliner. Right now the recliner is also my bed. Too much pain to lay flat.

It will probably be a couple more weeks to fully recover.

Glad to hear that surgery went well. Try & relax even if it is hard to get into that position.
