I have been going to Disney World for the past 27 years. Many trips with stroller ! Today is the first day something was taken from it while we were on a ride.
Some person took the cell phone charging cable, the portable charge pack, and this is the kicker......a water bottle with soda in it ! Yes, it had been opened and drank out of by my daughter. No special bottle, just a Dasani water bottle with soda in it.
So after many years of telling people that I have never had any problem leaving things in the stroller, I feel I must now warn individuals to be very cautious about what you leave in the stroller storage area. This has not ruined our vacation, but makes us be careful about what we bring into the parks !

I'm sorry. We've had the strangest things taken from different places (not Disney), and it boggles the mind.

I don't trust people no matter where I am; I expect shenanigans! More surprised when it doesn't happen...

Sorry this happened to you but unfortunately this is the world we live in now.

It would be foolish to leave anything valuable. For easily replaceable items, though, it might be worth the risk. How many times you went without incident, vs one weird occasion of theft? Of course, for things easy to carry with you, why not just carry the items. I prefer not to carry much in parks, but I've never gone with kids young enough to need a stroller. I imagine you get used to the handy ability to leave things in it. And I'm sorry that happened.

I've had someone actually take my stroller. By mistake? I don't know, but it had our name on it.

Can't really say I'm surprised. Next trip we are planning on entirely not taking a bag at all to avoid the bag line and if we need a new shirt or something, I'll buy a new shirt.

Yes, it's one of the perks of staying on property with our offspring, we packed very light. If there was an accident or something that was our cue to head back to the hotel to restock supplies. Seeing people in the parks packed for a week long safari ride never made any sense to me.

Back in 2009 someone stole my daughter's brand new High School Musical sweatshirt out of the stroller

That stinks. The only thing I've had stolen was Halloween candy during MNSSHP. But also once caught a guy and his family pushing my stroller down the street near Thunder Moutain. I caught up to them and showed them my name still on the stroller and that was that.

We both pretended it was an accident and they exited our stroller and moved on.

We do lose our sense of security while at Disney. I am included. We all fall into a false sense that everyone there is honest, nice, caring and good people. That is not the case, I am sure. It's sad to think that way but the world we live in is that way and we need to exercise a little more caution. I don't get the need for them to heist your opened water bottle with soda in it tho ... very odd. Karma will catch up ...

This is disturbing to hear. I am sorry it happened to you. I often leave Baby Bears Back pack in the stroller when on attractions. I will be VERY UPSET if I come back and find them missing. I am planning for my August/September trip. I guess I will have to re-think how and what I pack.

I had a friend go in May to MK. They had a stroller that had an old diaper type bag with an extra set of clothes and pull-ups for their daughter. They found it unzipped, with the clothes missing, behind a garbage can near POTC. They were at JC.
