Can anyone tell me when Disney will release the room rates for 2017?

You can call Disney and get a room only quote for 2017 right now. The package rates have not come out yet, though. They are typically released between June and August.

I know, I would really like to book our January trip now but I have to wait for package rates to come out.

It's very frustrating! We are trying to budget for our honeymoon and there's nothing available for 2017 online yet. Maybe they will release it when packages come out? I could just ask Wendy to look at it for me but I hate wasting her time with quotes I may never book...

You can book the room now and add package elements later when the prices come out, if you want a particular room and are afraid you won't get it when package rates are released. Just call and book a room only reservation.
