We 'bought' annual passes online. When you go to guest relations to get your actual/physical Annual Pass does the 365 days start from that day or from the first time you enter a park? I am wondering because we were going to pick up our passes and TIW card the day before we go to the parks the first time and I am planning a trip the following summer and need to know the pass end date for planning that trip...

Thanks!

(about 27 days until we leave for Florida - squee!!)

It's activated the first day you use it. I bought mine in May for an October stay. Have fun!

It starts the day the passes are activated. Which, in this case would be when you pick them up. We did this in Dec (sorta). We had purchased 10 day tickets, but then decided to up them to AP once we got there. Went to guest services at Disney Springs the evening we arrived and upgraded. We weren't planning on going to a park until the day after next but it was more convenient to go to GS earlier. Our passes expired a year from the day we made the exchange. When i asked about that, i was told that the new policy was one year from activation. I could wait until we went to a park, but they'd have to undo the transaction they just did and we have to do it all again at the park. Which would mean not having AP discounts or being able to get the TIW until then.

So in your case, if you were to pick up your AP on June 12 but not enter a park until June 13, the last day you can use tyour AP will be June 12, 2017. (And yes its the 12th).

Thanks Fanghorn!! That's exactly the info I was looking for, lol. Including the part about if they are activated on let's say June 12th, they are good until the following June 12th (not the 11th). So I guess you sort of get 366 days.

Well this year it's 367 days since it's leap year. :)
