Online check in???

Please forgive me! I am reading a lot about this and I am interested. Can someone enlighten me on how this works?

You check-in online in advance of your trip. You can make some limited general requests (you're better off having requests noted when you make your reservation). It typically saves you time at check-in since they usually will have all your documents printed and ready to go.

Exactly! You do the check-in "stuff" ahead of time, like setting up a credit card for room charges, picking a pin for MagicBand purchases, etc. You can also let them know your approx. time of arrival, and if you'd rather wait for a room that matches your requests, or if you'd prefer any room that is ready when you arrive.

It usually does save a few minutes, since you don't have to do the check-in stuff when you get there. On our last trip, we were met in the lobby, handed our package and we were off!
