Magic Mornings and Extra Magic Hour

What's the difference between Magic Mornings and AM Extra Magic Hour? They seem to be the same thing. We will be staying at the Grand Californian with Park Hoppers for 4 days in late June. Thanks.

If you are staying in one of the 3 Disneyland resorts (Paradise Pier, Disneyland Hotel, or Grand Californian) the EMH is good daily for your entire trip, the Magic Mornings is mainly for those staying off-property and is good once during your stay.


Magic Morning at Disneyland Park
With Magic Morning, an early admission option, Disneyland Resort Guests (with valid 3+ day ticket) enjoy one early admission (during the duration of theme park ticket or Southern California CityPASS) to select attractions, stores, entertainment and dining locations in Disneyland park for one full hour before the parks open to the general public on select days.


What Is Extra Magic Hour?
With Extra Magic Hour, an early admission option, registered Disneyland Resort Hotel Guests enjoy—during every day of hotel stay—admission to select attractions, stores, entertainment and dining locations in Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park for one full hour before the parks open to the general public on select days.
To enhance the early entry experience, it is strongly recommended that Guests arrive at least one hour and 15 minutes prior to regular park opening.

Extra Magic Hour is one of the many benefits of staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel and is only available for Guests who book and stay at a Disneyland Resort Hotel.


Since you are staying in the Grand Californian, you will have the option to enter whichever park has EMH that day one hour before regular opening time. This will be good every day of your stay.
