Disney Springs worth a trip?

I'll be going back the first week of May. I'm not going to complain about the things that won't be open (cough cough frozen, rivers of light....), but I'm curious about the status of Disney Springs. I'll have my two little kids with me (7 and 4), so i'll obviously have plenty of other things to do, but I do like to see the new stuff. Is it worth a visit yet?

Well, there will still be some stuff closed. The new area "Town Center" is scheduled to open starting May 15 (with phased openings continuing through the summer). However, that section is more of a mall type atmosphere, so it won't be of interest to kids that age anyway.

The best area for kids remains the Marketplace. There is the Lego Store, Once Upon a Toy, T-Rex and Rainforest Cafes, the World of Disney Store, Goofy's Candy Co, the Christmas Store, etc. All that is "old" stuff, though. Most "new" stuff would be of little interest to children as it's all bars and restaurants.
