The new Ample Hills Creamery location on Disney's Boardwalk is now open:

A new flavorful ice cream parlor called Ample Hills Creamery opened to Disney guests yesterday, May 15, at Disney’s BoardWalk entertainment, dining and shopping area. In keeping with the timeless charm of the 1930’s Atlantic coastal atmosphere surrounding Disney’s Boardwalk, Ample Hills Creamery is a whimsical take on the turn-of-the-century ice cream parlor. The bright, colorful shop is located next to ESPN Club, overlooking Crescent Lake.

Inside the Creamery, ice cream aficionados can sample as many flavors as they’d like, including a variety of 16 signature ice cream flavors. Ample Hills will also delight guests with its homespun milkshakes, luxurious sundaes and six different ice cream cone options, from the classic waffle cone to the adventurous pretzel cone.

The replacement for the The Yard Arcade & Store at Disney's Boardwalk has been publicly announced:

... Ample Hills Creamery, a Brooklyn-based company known for their creative approach to all things ice cream, will open its first location outside of New York City.

The new creamery will be located on Disney’s BoardWalk ... Guests will be able to peek into the promenade-facing kitchen windows, where ice cream and mix-ins will be handcrafted the old-fashioned way.

Inside, guests can sample as many flavors as they’d like, including signature creations like Ooey Gooey Butter Cake, Coffee Toffee Coffee, Malty Salty Pretzel Punch, Cotton Candy, and more. They’re even working on a special one-of-a-kind flavor developed exclusively for Walt Disney World Resort. ...

This addition appears to be tied to the February 1, 2016 closure of Seashore Sweets (http://www.intercot.com/discussion/showthread.php?211548-Seashore-Sweets-closing-February-1) as Ample Hills Creamery will be the new ice cream spot on the Boardwalk.
