Riding in the front of the Monorail

In the past you used to be able to ride in the front car of the monorail at WDW. Then there was an accident and they stopped allowing people in the front car.

What is the current policy at DL?

We rode in the front car with the pilot in DL in January!

The policy never changed at Disneyland. The front car van accommodate 4 in addition to the pilot. The back car is a passenger car but provides a great almost 360 degree view out all the windows.
