In 13 days, I will be at WDW :yay: ! On March 11th, my sister and I have tickets to attend the spring training game between the Braves and the Phillies at Champion Field at WWoS. We will have a rental car, so we don't have to deal with busing. Is there a decent sized parking lot there? What sort of food options are offered? Is it just basic food like hot dogs, burgers, etc. or are there any unique food options? Lastly, do they allow you to bring in food to the game? I know while we can bring in food at Citizens Bank Park, you aren't allowed to do it at Bright House field, the Phillies Spring Training facility in Clearwater.

The parking lot is pretty huge. Food is kind of scarce. There is one restaurant. It's a typical sports bar type place. Our menus page has a current menu posted. There are also vendors that will sell typical game type foods (hot dogs, snacks, beer, etc). I don't know if there is a rule in place regarding bringing food in.

I saw that the menu here was updated, but I don't think the restaurant is actually in the stadium. I was afraid that the answer would be that the food choices will be scarce. As it is a Friday in Lent, no hot dogs for me. Looks like lunch will be fries and a soda (I am not a fan of beer). Fortunately, we have a 7:45 ADR at Narcoossee's, where I will have plenty of food that I can eat :tasty: !

The restaurant is across from the stadium entrance.

We also enjoy the spring training opportunities in Florida, and especially Disney! In fact, we'll be at the game on the 11th! To answer some of your questions, from our point of view:

There is plenty of free parking at WWoS (unlike many of the stadiums where you have to pay). However, it can get pretty crowded for games like this, so head to the stadium as early as you can to avoid potential traffic jams, and also get a spot closer to the stadium. You should realize you need to enter the WWoS complex prior to entering the stadium - so your game ticket will get you into both WWoS and Champion Stadium.

I don't think they'll allow you to bring food into the complex with you. There is a restaurant in WWoS right next to the stadium. I think it's currently called the ESPN Sports Grill, or something like that. They are likely to have more selection than Champion Stadium. Over the years, we've done several spring training sites in Florida, and in our opinion - Champion Stadium might be the worst for food options and quality. I'm sure some would challenge that - but we are much more likely to get to the complex a bit earlier, grab a bite at the restaurant, and then maybe catch a popcorn and soda during the game. We've also been to Bright House Field in Clearwater, and eating there is much better. Another option is to catch a late breakfast or early lunch around Disney. But I would not depend on getting what you want to eat at that stadium.

Enjoy the game and have fun - hoping for a nice sunny day for baseball!
