Room request for POFQ

I am checking in online for POFQ. since it's a small resort, is it necessary to make a room request? We are a family of four with two kids.

Corner room,
First floor,
Etc

It isn't as crucial, since everything is close, but I would request "close to transportation", since that will also get you as close as possible to the main building and pool.
