Hi All! How does this idea sound? Celebrating youngest daughter's 14th birthday 2nd night of our trip. We will require seating for 8 (all are 11 and older). What time would you suggest for ADRs if we wanted to plan to see fireworks during dessert? And what special thing can we do ahead of time for her as a surprise? Thanks in advance for any info and ideas!!

We usually make an ADR about 1 ½ hours before fireworks. We enjoy taking our time with dinner and this gives us the opportunity to relax, have some wine :wine:, and enjoy our dinner. We order our coffee/dessert right before we go out for the fireworks.

We celebrate my son's birthday there when we travel in June and sometimes they do a lovely decorated dessert for him and other times nothing. They used to do personalized menus which was very nice.

I would say give yourself 2 full hours...with that large of a group you may not be seated as early as you may with smaller groups. Also, it will give you ample opportunity to take your time with menu & courses than to rush. GF does exquisite celebration cakes - what about having one ordered for the meal.
