Has anyone been at this hotel lately that would care to share their experience? I've got the King mini suite room with 2 double beds reserved for next July and would love to hear any comments. I've also have reserved at the Fairfield Marriott just in case. I really like the idea of the King bed and separate room with 2 doubles, microwave, frig, coffee maker. Anyone have any recent experience in either hotel I would appreciate hearing about it. TIA:mickey:

My daughter and her husband stayed at Best Western Plus Anaheim Inn for two nights in September. They were very happy with the room and the service. They were not looking for anything fancy. Were more interested in location. It is a very easy walk to the parks. They said their room was clean and everything worked well - fridge, TV, air, etc. The people at the front desk were nice and very helpful when a friend of theirs decided to spend one night with them and needed a place to park his car. The Best Western could not spare an extra spot, but they called around to nearby hotels and found him a spot to park at the Carousel Inn down the street. The complimentary breakfast was fairly typical with sausage, eggs, pancakes, yogurt, danish, donuts, bagels, and the like. They considered it a worthwhile stop each morning.

I stayed at the Fairfield Inn once last year. It is a bit more of a walk but definitely not what I would consider far away from the parks. Our room was very clean and spacious and it seemed recently refurbished. The girl at the front desk asked us lots of questions to try and find us a room we would be happy with. I don't know if they were not very booked when we were there so there were more rooms than normal to choose from or if they usually go to so much trouble to find you the perfect room. But we liked our room and appreciated the effort. There is not a complimentary breakfast offered at this hotel, but there is a Mimi's right next door on one side, a McDonald's on the other side, and they are building a Panera in front of the hotel (where a restaurant named Millie's used to be).

None of us used the pools at these hotels so I have no input there.
