I have never has such trouble trying to stay at Disney. I can't get any moderate or All Stars. What is going on? I have tried regular rate, passholder holder and Florida and NOTHING! I found one weekend in December at Coronado. I have never stayed off property before. I don't want to. I am getting so disappointed with Disney-plus now the passholder fees are going up. What benefits do we have anymore? Sad and mad!

I think December might be considerably crowded this year - ever since Disney announced this will be the last year for the Osborne Light display, a number of folks seem to have decided to make the trip for one final viewing. Are you working with Magical Journeys or looking for reservations on your own?

We're having the same problem! We've been going the first weekend in December for many years and this year we can't get a room. :(

Hi, Thanks. I have always searched online on the Disney website. So bummed. I know if I called reservations it would be the same thing.

Try reaching out to INTERCOT's sponsor Magical Journeys. They will keep searching for you until something comes up.

Same problem here, we are going just for a short few days, Nov 6-9. Nothing at all available and I worked with Denise at Magical Journeys. I cannot believe there is not a thing available and now it is going on into December. We finally booked at Downtown Disney. But I have checked everyday to find something onsite, today I found a room available at Coronado Springs, have never spent the money for a moderate, but I figured it was costing us 100.00 to get from airport to hotel and back, so counting that cost it was only going to cost a 150.00 extra to stay at Coronado Springs so I booked it. All the extras such as extra magic hours, flight check in, better transportation to parks, etc is worth the extra for this trip that is just myself and 2 adult daughters, yes we are going for the lights which one daughter has never seen. Oh well It is only money. Also I read on another site the the South America groups are now doing their booking for the first 2 weeks in December instead of earlier in the year.

I used to say that. Then in 2012 some friends convinced me to split a condo with them. I have not stayed on property since.

In March our family (6 of us altogether) stayed in a 3 bed, 3 bath townhouse with it's own swimming pool. It cost us less than 2 rooms at a value resort. Also depending on where you stay the drive might not be bad. Less than 10 minutes for the townhouse that I stayed in.

Most of our 10 day stays through out the years included a 7 day stay at one of our timeshares... Took less time to get to the parks than the onsite Disney buses. Plus our timeshare gave us so much more room and was much cheaper. I have no problem staying off site.

Also you don't have to wait in line for a bus at the end of the night. Just have to walk to your car; unless you are at MK, but even that is not bad, the ferries hold so many people you can usually get on them without much of a wait.

Nothing says you can't use a car onsite. We usually use a rental car during our stays and skip the Disney transportation.

What weekend are you looking at? I just booked a weekend in Dec. All Stars Florida rate. I know that Pop Warner will be there from the 4-12 that might be the reason for the booked All-Stars. When you say "weekend" are you coming in of Friday? I booked Saturday one night. That may also be the reason I was able to get a room with no problem.
