Planning a "once in a lifetime" trip to Disneyland the first week of Dec. (from NY) Does anyone know if there are any planned closures for that time?

Right now there's nothing major planned for December. Lots of big closures beginning in January 2016 as they break ground for Star Wars Land but you should be fine.

Check out our DLR refurbishment list (http://www.intercot.com/discussion/showthread.php?t=209763). It is updated from time to time so you might want to check back later but as a general rule unless there is a major project going on most attractions and entertainment are up and running during the holidays.
