Boardwalk Villas-Deluxe Studio ?

I am not sure if I read it on here somewhere (can't find it) or heard it from someone that the Deluxe Studios are getting/or have a fold down bed and it will sleep 5? I was looking online at the pictures and see it is the bigger of the studios offered per square foot and was wondering if anyone has any info on this?

They did undergo a recent refurb but I think it was soft goods only and there was no addition of the pull down. According to MS they still sleep 4.

BCV will be getting the addition but right now their refurbishment is on hold.

The Fall 2015 issue of Disney Files notes: new bedding, drapes, reupholstered seating, updated backsplashes, new laminate flooring, new artwork, new bunk-size pull-down beds and more! Work is being done in phases through the fall.

We were there in August and the 4th floor rooms were under renovations . We went the wrong way and got excited we thought we were gonna get a refurbished room :sad:. They had the doors opened to the rooms as they were bringing in the new stuff and the rooms looked gorgeous . They finished while we were there because I started seeing guest going down the hallway . I would request 4th floor left of the elevators because they were all refurbished (going towards the jelly rolls side not the bakery side ) Hope this post made since

i was there in june in a refurbished studio (5th floor, boardwalk view). they have the pull down beds. the rooms are very well done. bcv is getting the same.

i will be on the 4th or 5th floor (hopefully up there), boardwalk view, in 29 days. hopefully we get the refurb rooms again.

By your name, I am assuming you are a DVC of Wilderness Lodge....what do you like/dislike about that resort?

Do they have the pulldown bed to accommodate 5 in the deluxe studios?

I was just lucky and happened to get my current issue of Disney Files the day before. You've got way more data and experience than most! I certainly appreciate all your assistance.

Beach Club Villas are scheduled for refurbishment next year and will have the pull down Murphy bed, too. I think it was put on hold because they moved people from VWL to BCVs due to the construction there.

BWVs are being refurbished now and are expected to be completed by the end of the year. The studios will have the Murphy bed and sleep five.

We will be there the week of Thanksgiving and are so hoping to get a refurbished (1br, standard view) room.
