I am assuming that the new Boathouse restaurant is not on the Disney Dinning Plan but I thought I would ask. Anyone know?

I have heard great things about the steaks!

Info from DisneyWorld.com:

Dining Plans Accepted at The BOATHOUSE®: - credits required

Disney Dining Plan - 2 lunch, 2 dinner
Disney Deluxe Dining Plan - 2 lunch, 2 dinner
Disney Premium Plan - 1 lunch, 1 dinner
Disney Platinum Plan - 1 lunch, 1 dinner

So, all plans except the Quick Service are useable at The Boathouse.

Wonder how the DDP will work? Many of the entrees are "for two" and the menu has a separate listing for "sides". If I go with a party for 2 will we be able to get a "for two" entrée and share(I am guessing not but not sure) and will each be able to order a "side"?

Anyone been there on the DDP?

I'm assuming the sides are handled the same way they are at Yachtsman Steakhouse, since I believe they are separate as well. We have the Boathouse booked for our upcoming trip, but haven't been yet under the DDP so interested to see.

The listed info says some of the entrees serving two guests would require 4 credits etc. Also, I could easily see an Appetizer or Dessert credit being utilized on a side instead since most of the more exclusive entrees are a la carte like YS.

When we did the Rib Eye for 2 at Raglan Road it came with sides that we split and two desserts.
