There are new DVC D&B patterns being released July 6th at 1130AM. They can only be purchased through the link on the DVC member site. There will be two sizes available: the Tote and the Letter Carrier.

The new Vera Bradley pattern is black with the white DVC logo and will also be release on July 6th with more information to follow. VB will be releasing three pieces: the duffle, the tote, and the backpack.

I'm not real crazy about these. I have a few of the D&B "Buttons" purses. This seems too plan to me.

It's the Vera bags that my wife collects like baseball cards. I would complain, but I do the same with guitars.

I ordered the Vera tote for myself. I do like the D&B brown tote but not $398 worth.

The D&B is the same brown leather they've used previously with the early sketch print and Aulani. I ended up selling mine (sketch) after seeing what happened to my mother-in-laws after she carried it for awhile. The worst fading I've ever seen on a Disney D&B. I wouldn't buy anything similar again.

That said, I like these VB ones. The subtle black pattern is right down my alley, and they are selling the non-DVC ones on Disney Store.com right now.

I love to use my D&B letter carrier bags when I'm on vacation or traveling. And I especially love that letter carrier, but after hearing about Melanie's MIL's bag, I've decided not to get one.

D&B has a trade-in program if anyone's interested. Basically, you get credit for ½ price of the bag that can only be applied toward the purchase of a new bag of greater or equal value to the original bag $. The caveats are you must use the credit within a certain time frame, and you must purchase the new bag at retail.
