We are thinking of taking a beach vacation this summer and would love to see some hatchings. I've done some research and they seem to occur from North Carolina down to Florida. We are open to visit any shore along the way. Do you have any suggestions for a good place and time to visit?

Disney's Vero Beach resort is an excellent place to enjoy turtles. They have guided morning walks and educational talks about them. In July they have the tour de turtles and release two sea turtles (a "race") with trackers and you can follow "your turtle! Mine went to Cuba last year and then back to Vero. I supposed the ban was for traveling American turtles as well! ;)

Thanks Christine. We just booked Vero for late July. I currently have a turtle walk booked with Barrier Island. Is this the same one the resort offers? The front desk wasn't to helpful and the CM in charge of tours is out until mid June. We are staying for 5 nights. What are some other must dos. I have the Sunday brunch booked. Thanks.
