Potential last week of Aug. trip

Looking at a potential trip during the last week of August, right before school starts. Any tips on what that looks like? Thanks! :mickey:

Crowds go down the further into August you get as more and more schools around the country start earlier than that. Still, you should plan on moderate crowds as there doesn't seem to be any real slow times at Disney any more. Weather will still be plenty hot and humid and you can plan on daily thunder showers - some that can get quite intense.

We've done the last week in August for the past two years and have found the crowds manageable. There is a noticeable decrease between the weekend and Monday.

Yes, I would say the crowds compare to the May time frame.

That's the week we go! After many schools have started, but not all (ours start right about Labour Day too).

It is pretty good, crowds are very similar to early May, but it is A LOT hotter, and the thunderstorms can be quite intense, although they are also usually quite brief. In all of our August trips, we've never had a full day of rain.

Thank you so much for all the feedback! Would it be fair to say that last week of August would be less crowded than the first or second week of June? But that early June wouldn't be as hot?
