DVC contract or more points

Is is more cost effective to buy a 2nd DVC contract or add points to your existing contract. My inlaws have a BLT we use with them every year but we would like to use DVC to come to race weekends. Theres only 200 so with 9 people this doesn't leave anything left over. Which would be best for us to do??

If the original contract is in your inlaws name only I think it would benefit you to get your own contract. By establishing your own contract you would be able to use the member benefits/discounts such as early booking for special events, AP discount, etc. You would, of course, also be responsible for dues. There are usually a few BLT contracts up on resale, our sponsor The Timeshare Store (http://www.dvc-resales.com) could handle this for you.

Agreed, look into buying your own DVC resale and if you feel the need to go on a members only cruise, buy a small 25 point contract direct from Disney. :thumbsup:
