This is our first time being able to go at a time that isn't a school break and have decided on October so we can do Food & Wine and MNSSHP. Is there usually promotions like discounted accommodations or free DDP at this time?

There has been free dining in the past in early October. What we would usually do is book our first day to coincide with the last day of the free dining offer, because then it still applies to your entire stay. My birthday is October 4th, and I have spent many birthdays over the past 15 years in the parks.
